If you have a very large quantity of users, it can be difficult to sort through them and isolate the particular user or type of user you want. This article discusses the search tools you can use with your user directory.

  1. To find a specific user by name or email address, enter it in the Search users... field to locate any matches in the First name, Last name, or Email attributes.

Partial matches will return results only if the string starts with your search term. For example, searching ed will locate users named Edward or Edith, but not users named Alfred or Benedict. There is no minimum character limit on search terms; you may search for a single character if desired. OneLogin does not use wildcard characters such as * or ? – these characters will be disregarded when searching.

  2. Click Show filters to use a search filter. You can filter users by Group, Role, or Status.

  3. You can refine your search results further by applying multiple filters at once in addition to your search term.

To broaden your search, click the X next to any filter you wish to remove.
