Prerequisites:

Configure SSO for Trello

Enabling a Trello service account for OneLogin

Trello’s SCIM API is available at https://trello.com/scim/v2. It requires an enterprise token for access. As an enterprise administrator, a token can be obtained from https://trello.com/my/enterprise/token.

Enabling provisioning in OneLogin

  1. Log into OneLogin as a Super user or Account Owner and go to Apps > Company Apps > Trello.

  2. On the Configuration tab, connect to the Trello API.

    1. Enter the Trello Secure Account Token that you copied from Trello in the previous task.

    2. Click Enable.

If the connection is successful, the API Status icon switches to .

  1. On the Provisioning tab, enable provisioning and set your admin approval policy.

    1. Select Enable provisioning for Trello.

    2. Select the provisioning actions that require admin approval.

If you select any of the available actions, an admin must go to Users > Provisioning and manually approve the action every time it occurs.

    3. Select how users that are deleted in OneLogin are handled in Trello.

Choose between Delete and Do Nothing.

  2. On the Parameters tab, confirm the mapping of Trello attributes to OneLogin attributes.

NameID (Subject) is included in the SAML assertion passed by OneLogin to Trello.

The SCIM Username is used for provisioning.

For all parameters, you should keep the default OneLogin values unless instructed to do so otherwise by Trello.

  3. Click Save.

  4. To confirm that provisioning from OneLogin to Trello is working, assign Trello to a OneLogin user and go to Users > Provisioning to approve the provisioning event, if necessary.

When the user is marked as Provisioned, go to Trello and confirm that the new user has been added.
